About

After teaching on the book of Revelation in different church contexts over the years, Tim and Steve started this project as a labor of love. The goal is simple:

Help you dive into this incredible book and discover its transforming power for yourself.

Neither of them are scholars, but both have spent years reading through and teaching the scriptures, along with taking (and auditing) hours upon hours of seminary courses. The content of these conversations are largely a synthesis of the books, commentaries, lectures, and years of meditation that they have spent in the book of Revelation.

Tim and Steve live in Portland, Oregon—and yes—it’s as amazing to live there as you have heard.

Tim Reed

Tim Reed went down the rabbit hole of Revelation a number of years ago and never came out the other side. After years of playing in punk rock bands, Tim fell in love with the book’s subversive message to stand against the powers of evil and follow the Lamb wherever he goes.

Tim works in the fireplace industry and travels the country helping businesses with their sales process.

The best summary of Revelation that he has ever heard comes from the late Dr. Robert Mulholland, who says:

“Revelation is a call to radical discipleship to live as citizens of God’s New Jerusalem in the midst of a Fallen Babylon world.”

Steve Marshman fell in love with the book of Revelation while fighting through medical issues with his wife in the hospital. The message of hope and the promise that the world will be made right has been an anchor in his life.

Steve, a former Air Force pilot, retired from a career in finance and spends his time flying his airplane and spoiling his grandkids.

He believes the hardest question for Christians is: Why does God allow evil? The book of Revelation gives a concrete answer: One day He won’t.

Steve has served as one of the founding elders for Westside: A Jesus Church (formerly Solid Rock) and 26 West Church.
